Research Bio
While my research career is still young, it is focused on the design of materials to enable new electrochemical pathways for desired products. One of the challenges in designing effective materials for electorchemical reaction pathways are the scaling relations that govern the stability of reaction intermediates. My research aims to break scaling relations and use machine learning to predict other materials with similar properties. I plan to use high-throughput computation combined with machine learning to shrink an intractable materials space to a smaller space to guide exploration by experimental groups.

Having developed an impeccable relationship with my keyboard and Bash terminal, in my free time I like to direct my attention elsewhere. I love weight training at the CU rec center as well as mountain biking and snowboarding in the easily accessible mountains. Recently I have reignited my love of basketball and have been shooting the lights out at weekend pickup games at the rec center. On top of working out I spend some time exploring a personal side project to understand corporate finance and efficient capital allocation. I’m always open to talking about anything and everything related to investing.
