Yonatan Malin, Associate Professor of Music Theory and Jewish Studies, presented a talk on 鈥淯nderstanding Jewish Music鈥� in the First Friday series at in听Boulder, CO.听He introduced elements that contribute to the power of Jewish music with examples from traditional nusach, a modern niggun, and a Moroccan piyut.
