Liora Halperin, Assistant Professor of History and Jewish Studies, and Endowed Professor of Israel/Palestine Studies, gave lectures about her book,听听at Middlebury College (VT) and the University of Oxford. While in Oxford, Prof. Halperin also worked with archival collections at the related to the early history of Zionist settlement in late 19th century Palestine. In April, Prof. Halperin presented new research at Columbia University's workshop series. During the 2016-2017 academic year Prof. Halperin will be on leave from CU to be a fellow at the University of Michigan's , participating in thematic seminar on "" and working on a project entitled听"Furrows of Memory: Narratives of Violence, Victimhood, and Heroism in Palestine鈥檚 Early Zionist Colonies"听
