For CU students, staff, and faculty, come learn about the way of Zen. Get to know your true self. We will sit for 20 minutes, then have a brief discussion about Zen practice and how we can improve our sense of wellbeing and balance by meditating.

Join Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) for a hybrid workshop to learn about a work of art on display at the CU Art Museum and participate in a mindfulness practice. Meditation sessions are open to all students, staff, faculty, and the public. 

Sommers-Bausch Observatory has been exploring the night sky since 1953. The Open Houses are FREE and everyone is welcome. Sessions typically last from 1-2 hours, depending upon the weather, the quality of the night.

ASAP is hosting its Academic Success Conference and Resource Fair on Oct. 3. Visit the fair from 3-4:30 p.m. to learn more about different academic resources available on campus, then attend one of the conference sessions to learn ways to overcome issues that might be affecting your academic performance.

Join Counseling and Psychiatric Services for a free Anxiety Toolbox workshop to learn how to manage and reduce social anxiety, test anxiety, and general anxiety. For the best results, we encourage students to attend two sessions. 

Join the Pride Office weekly for a stress-free event to make crafts, play games, create art and other low-key activities. This is a drop-in event so come at any time and enjoy some Queer company!

Join Counseling and Psychiatric Services for a free Skills for Thriving workshop to learn how to manage and respond to distress. You'll learn how to practice mindfulness, stay present and get unstuck from overwhelming or unwanted thoughts and feelings.

Join us for an unforgettable evening as we celebrate 100 years of Disney through the lens of jazz. The program features the new house band of The National Jazz Museum in Harlem which is curated by artistic directors Jon Batiste and Christian McBride. Pianist and music director Sean Mason brings these famous songs to life along with a five-piece band and two wonderful singers and storytellers.

Come down to The Connection on Oct. 7 to watch the Colorado Buffaloes take on the Arizona State Sun Devils! Free pizza with valid Buff OneCard.

Participants are treated through auricular (ear) acupuncture - participants can choose traditional needles or ear seeds. Treatment is for reducing stress, anxiety, depression, pain and improving sleep and mental focus. Walk-ins and online scheduling welcome - space is limited. $15 for one 30 to 45 minute session.

This workshop led by Seth Vuletich (Scholarly Communications Librarian) and Brianna Buljung (Teaching and Learning Librarian) will help you answer these questions and develop strategies to take on this sometimes-onerous task more effectively.

The mobile food pantry is free and open to CU Boulder students, faculty, and staff as well as community members of Boulder and Broomfield Counties. Attendees will receive up to 30 pounds of food in multiple boxes. Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis, while supplies last.

Join your fellow art aficionados to create a work of art even the beginning painter can be proud of! This is a great way to engage with your peers while creating a painting you can’t wait to show off! All supplies included. Brought to you by the Center for Student Involvement.

Come learn some basic survival techniques and practice before you may need them!

Pick up your free ticket to the Colorado Rapids vs. Real Salt Lake game on Oct. 19 at 10 a.m. in the Center for Student Involvement (UMC 330). One ticket per student and must have Buff OneCard to pick up ticket. If you want to go to the game with a friend, please plan to pick up your tickets together. No tickets will be held.

This six-hour course covers everything from burns and broken bones to choking and heart attacks. This course also includes adult, infant and junior CPR and AED training. Register online or in person at Rec Center Guest Services. *All participants must be CU Boulder student, faculty, staff, or affiliate to register.

Homecoming festivities bring students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members together to celebrate CU Boulder and generate campus spirit and pride. Reunite with the memories, people and places that made your CU experience special at one — or all — of the events.

Getting involved can look different for everyone and doesn’t need to cost a fortune. It can be as simple as attending campus events when you have time, or it can be more of a commitment when joining an organization or program. However you choose to get involved, participating in events and programs can help you meet new friends, discover new interests or hobbies and even explore different career paths. Here are some options to check out this semester if you want to get more involved.
