Join other graduate students for a writing bootcamp that will provide the time and community needed to kick-start your writing before the spring term begins.

This January, Center for Inclusion and Social Change (CISC) and the Volunteer Resource Center (VRC) are teaming up to offer an educational one-time service experience in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, which is a national day of service on Monday, January 17. This is an opportunity for students to learn about the holiday, engage in service and connect with their community in the spirit of spending the day “on” rather than off.

Get valuable insight on accountability styles, motivation techniques and a crash course on habits. You will learn everything you need to know to drop into any Endurance PhD/MA seminar no matter how far along you are or just come to the retreat for general productivity skills. Open to ALL graduate students!

CU Night at the Stock Show brings a black-and-gold twist to Colorado's annual National Western Stock Show festivities on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022. For a special, discounted ticket rate, attendees have the chance to explore the Stock Show grounds during the day and cheer on the pro rodeo by night. Plus, you’ll see baby Buffs get the chance to try mutton busting. 

ALTEC's spring non-credit language classes start January 24, 2022 and meet twice a week at noon or in the evening for remote, live learning. Adults worldwide can choose from American Sign Language, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.

Sign up to attend our weekly write-in sessions. The goal of these sessions is to promote accountability by devoting a few hours to your writing each week. Use techniques like pomodoros to break down your focus time into intervals followed by short breaks so you use your time effectively. 

Start off the spring with setting new goals for the new year! Health Hut brings health and wellness activities to students every week. Activities are free and open to all students! All activities take place on Tuesdays.

Take time out of your week to relax and craft with your peers. DIY Nights are a great way to engage with others while participating in a fun craft project. Pre-registration is required. Each event limited to the first 30 students.

Join the Center for Student Involvement to visit and connect other graduate and professional students. Food and beverages provided.

Pendulum is a concert series and forum for the creation and performance of new and original works by CU student composers, songwriters, improvisers, and collaborators. Every concert features multiple world premieres by living composers and creators. Each event is eclectic and can feature anything from acoustic chamber ensembles to immersive electroacoustic works and film scores, performed by CU’s own students as well as internationally renowned guests.

Join us for this 90-minute workshop designed for students to recognize that multiple identities intersect and interact with each other and how those identities can affect their privilege in society. 

Alternative Breaks sends teams of college students to engage in meaningful service during their breaks from school. This week-long journey over spring break provides students with the opportunity to explore the United States while making a difference through service, reflecting upon their experience, and creating long-lasting connections with others.

UROP’s Curiosity Lab virtual workshop series is open to all CU Boulder undergraduates interested in experiential learning on campus and beyond. �鶹��Ժ curious about research, creative work, internships, and other experiential learning opportunities are encouraged to participate in any number of workshops.

Health and wellness means finding balance and taking care of your physical and mental well-being. Whether it’s setting goals, trying new things, or finding ways to prioritize your health, learning what works for you can help create balance in your life. There are many opportunities on campus for you to connect with people and organizations if you want to learn and do more for your health and well-being.

Let’s Chat is a no cost service where CU Boulder staff and faculty can electronically schedule and participate in an informal and confidential 30-minute consultation with a Faculty Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) counselor Monday through Friday between 2 to 3 p.m. via telehealth or in-person.
