Join our Post-Completion Optional Practical Training (OPT) workshop for students with F-1 visa status to learn more about OPT eligibility requirements; the application timeline and process; and what to expect after OPT has been authorized.

ISSS is hosting an information session on the post-completion OPT application process at Leeds School of Business. The Spring 2024 OPT application window opens for international graduates in early February 2024. Understanding the timing implications for the application and approval cycles are an important strategic consideration if you are seeking employment in the United States after graduation. All international students are welcome to RSVP as space allows.

International Coffee Hour is open to all members of the CU Community--students, scholars, faculty, and staff. It is a social event that encourages mingling, celebrating culture and diversity, and promoting inclusivity on campus. Drop by the last International Coffee Hour of the semester for some free coffee, snacks, and games!

While on OPT, SEVIS reporting is required to maintain your F-1 status. This ISSS workshop helps students authorized for OPT better understand their OPT reporting responsibilities.

The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) is pleased to present the final postdoc proposal writing webinar for the semester on keeping narratives simple. A project narrative that is easy to read is one that is more likely to be read. This session will cover the concepts of word choice, transitions and narrative flow.

A Precious Child provides essentials to children and families in Colorado that are poverty-stricken, homeless, abused, at-risk, or facing a huge life challenge and without access to basic needs. Volunteers will be working in one of two volunteer roles--donation center volunteer or store volunteer.

The world-renowned Canadian Brass is back to help Boulder ring in the holidays with joyful brass music and merriment! With their signature blend of impeccable musicianship, humor, and audience engagement, “the world’s most famous brass group” is sure to get your holiday celebrations underway.

The mobile food pantry is free and open to CU Boulder students, faculty, and staff as well as community members of Boulder and Broomfield Counties. Attendees will receive up to 30 pounds of food in multiple boxes. Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
