Sign up to be a mentor or mentee! PMP is volunteer-based and pairs new or newer postdocs with more senior postdocs to foster support and leadership, respectively. Mentees benefit from networking and receiving one-on-one support and guidance about the postdoc and campus culture at CU Boulder, while serving as a mentor shows a commitment to leadership, builds confidence and strengthens communication skills – all of which are beneficial when seeking jobs.

Check out the Boulder Farmers Market and make new connections on the way! ISSS walks to the Boulder Farmers market every Wednesday. Meet in the ISSS office lobby at 3:30 p.m. to walk over together. All are welcome to join us--international students, scholars, spouses, partners, children, friends, and family.

Every Tuesday, the Environmental Center and Boulder Food Rescue are partnering to provide surplus food from Sprouts for free. Food is distributed on a first-come. first-served basis and is limited. It is recommended to arrive as close to 11 a.m. as possible. This event is open to all!

Join CU Boulder leadership, local elected officials and community members for CU Night in Downtown Boulder, a celebration of our community and those who call it home. Following the event, all are welcome to experience free musical performances at Bands on the Bricks on nearby Pearl Street, sponsored by CU Boulder.

This hybrid (five in-person days) class provides you with the tools and skills to make critical medical and evacuation decisions in remote settings. Based on protocols of the Wilderness Medical Society, this certification is often a requirement for employment in the outdoor recreation field. 

Most people say they value happiness but often treat it as a material pursuit. Learn that happiness doesn't have an on-and-off switch. Join us as we talk about happiness, consider how cultural context shapes our perceptions and take away personalizable and evidence-based tools.

A mobile food pantry will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. at UMC South Terrace Plaza. The mobile food pantry is free and open to CU Boulder students, faculty and staff as well as community members of Boulder and Broomfield Counties. Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Off-Campus Housing and Neighborhood Relations welcomes commuter students to come to the new Commuter Lounge in the UMC. Filled with amenities specifically for commuting students, we hope you will visit us during your days on campus. 

Bears are sporadically seen in the Boulder foothills and, on rare occasions, campus. It’s important that students, faculty, staff and the larger Boulder community become familiar with bear safety tips.
