Headwater stream dynamics • Ecohydrology • Ecological engineering
I am broadly interested in non-perennial hydrology, ecohydrology, and the impact of land-use change on streams and rivers. Currently, I am working on the Watershed Dynamics and Evolution (WaDE) Science Focus Area (SFA) at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL).
While completing an MS in ecological engineering at the Ohio State University, my research focused on the impact of good soil health practices on agricultural land. I used biogeochemical indicators to compare soil health of conventional and green fields to forested sites. As an undergraduate at the University of Florida, my academic research experience centered on urban soil and water research with an emphasis on water quality.
