CU Boulder faculty and staff are invited to join听Human Resources for a new series focused on actionable strategies听for inclusive leadership.听The purpose of Becoming an Inclusive Leader听series is to provide supervisors, managers, and leaders at CU Boulder with the knowledge and skills to lead their teams听to be more inclusive听and听equitable,听as well as the ability to听create a sense of belonging听among team members.听CU Boulder is committed to advancing the IDEA Plan and building an inclusive culture on听campus.听

Learning Objectives

After completing the series, CU Boulder leaders will be able to:听

• Understand how their lived experiences, identities, biases, and leadership style influence their role as a supervisor/manager in creating an inclusive听environment.听听
• Select inclusive strategies to support a sense of belonging for their teams.听
• Apply inclusive practices to retain and engage direct reports.听
• Examine ways to increase their intercultural competence.听
• Develop inclusive habits for managing performance.听
• Design a making excellence inclusive plan to operationalize the IDEA Plan.听

Who Should Attend

This event is intended for any CU Boulder supervisor who wants to learn more about leading teams听for inclusion.

Commitment

Becoming an Inclusive Leaders听is a听six-week series. Leaders will meet for six consecutive weeks for one hour from 1-2pm. The dates of the series:听听
