Jess Doty

Dr. Jess Doty has served the CU Boulder campus for over 10 years, working in various roles ranging from student affairs to health and well-being. Passionate about expanding access and removing barriers while striving for a more diverse and inclusive environment for students, staff and stakeholders, Dr. Doty has negotiated student health plans, established an employee well-being office, launched campus’s inaugural testing center and provided unlimited, no-cost mental health and urgent care for students.

Dr. Doty’s proven commitment to serving CU Boulder’s campus underpins her hope that well-being is centered on creating a supportive, inclusive and proactive environment that prioritizes the mental, physical and emotional health of students, staff and faculty. By leveraging technology, fostering community and promoting holistic and culturally competent care, Dr. Doty believes we can maintain a nurturing environment where our community can thrive.

Dr. Doty is recognized as a leader in the field of health and well-being on college campuses. As an active member of the American College Health Association (ACHA), Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA) and the Health Care Compliance Association (HCAA), she ensures CU Boulder’s place in the national landscape of work involving health and well-being by networking with colleagues and campuses across the country.
