Dear graduate and professional student colleagues,

We've been asked to share this message on behalf of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion:

On Dec. 7, the campus announced a new seed grant initiative to fund diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts at CU Boulder. The Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for DEI is sponsoring the seed grants, which stem from an IDEA Council recommendation.

The grants are available to students, staff, faculty and academic and administrative units seeking support for new and existing DEI initiatives aligned with their college or administrative area’s work. Deadlines for submitting proposals for the grant funding are approaching, and I encourage you to share the following information with your colleagues and with other graduate students.

  • Proposals to fund summer 2023 DEI initiatives are due by Jan. 17, and the deadline to fund 2023-24 academic year proposals are due on Feb. 13.
  • Managers and employees can learn more about the grants, deadlines and how to submit proposals inÌýCU Boulder Today.
  • Grant-seekers may also submit proposals by visiting theÌýDEI Resources Hub, a campus SharePoint site that requires a CU Boulder login.
  • In addition to submitting grant proposals, staff and faculty may consider serving as a grant proposal reviewer by completingÌý.

The DEI Impact Grants will be critical to helping us create and sustain a more just and inclusive campus community, we encourage you to apply or otherwise be involved!

Ìý
