Sandrine Vandermarlière received her maîtrise in English Linguistics from the Université de Jussieu, Paris and her MA in French Literature from the University of Houston. She obtained her PhD in 18thÌýcentury French literature at CU Boulder.

She is a CDE certified teacher and has been teaching French at all levels, from kindergarten to Business French in Companies such as Motorola and National Instruments.

She currently coordinates the First Year French Program at CU.
