RISE (Research Internship Summer Experience) is an annual eight week summer program held by NC State’s Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering (CCEE) department in which undergraduate and graduate students alike assist in summer research opportunities. In this program you will work side by side with your mentor and CCEE professors on interesting research projects as well as attend seminars aimed at developing research skills such as analyzing and visualizing data, writing research abstracts, and conducting a literature review. At the end of the eight weeks you and your work will be showcased at the Annual Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium along with hundreds of other research projects from across the nation.
