If you are looking for a Lower HSS course, you may consider this one:

HUEN 2843-001 – Special Topics: Women & Engineering (MWF 11:00-11:50, ECES 1B12)

Why don’t we hear more stories about women engineers?Ìý It’s not for lack of stories to tell, because women have been inventing and improving invention throughout time.Ìý In this course, you will learn about the unnamed women who contributed to textiles, food-production, and agriculture; the unrecognized women whose machines contributed to the Industrial Revolution; and the pioneering women in computing, efficiency, sanitation, and, finally, engineering education.Ìý Today, women engineers are doing cutting-edge research right here at CU Boulder, and several of these will both guest-lecture on their latest discoveries and also share their personal stories of success.Ìý This course is open to all students, but it could be especially inspirational for female undergraduates who have not yet found mentors and role models here at CEAS.Ìý
