MCEN 5228-016: Nanotechnology for Environmental Sustainability

Course Description

Explore applications of nanotechnology for environmental sustainability in a team-based learning setting. Learn the definitions of nanomaterials and nanoscale phenomena. Discuss the multi-faceted concept of sustainability and apply this concept to environmental and engineering contexts. Become familiar with the ongoing research on the environmental implications of nanotechnology.Ìý

Open to both graduate and undergraduate students, with graduate level expectations set for both groups. Requisites: Undergraduate students should have senior standing and should have completed both MCEN2024 and MCEN3047.
