Associate Teaching Professor Dr. Azza Kamal on Geospatial Thinking to Prioritize and Inform LID Retrofits and Ecological Placemaking for BMP Sites for Rethinking Stormwater Management through Sustainable Urban Design. The chapter is based on her funded study and technical report that delivered a toolkit to streamline the selection–and prioritization–of pollutant-prone, stormwater engineered structures. The proposed solution includes a set of Low Impact Development (LID) practices tailored to site specs to enhance ecological placemaking and water quality.
