Kevin J. Krizek analyzes聽the design of cities and transport alternatives by聽prizing evidence-based knowledge.聽His research has been awarded a three-year post as a visiting professor of 鈥淐ycling in Changing Urban Regions鈥� (Radboud University, the Netherlands) and two Fulbright appointments (University of Bologna, Italy; EAFIT University, Medellin).聽As a 2013-14 fellow of the聽Leopold Leadership Program, Krizek learned skills to translate knowledge to action and strategies to catalyze change to address the world鈥檚 most pressing sustainability challenges.
Krizek is the聽co-author/editor of four books, including聽聽(2018, 2nd聽ed.) and聽.聽He also served as the scientific director for the聽,聽held as part of the world鈥檚 largest conference on bicycling. Krizek was a founding co-editor for the Journal of Transport and Land Use and spearheaded the forming of the World Society of Transport and Land Use Research.
