The primary activity in this class will be the reading and discussion of student work, in a workshop format. The workshop will be 鈥渃raft-driven,鈥� which means we will try to regard each other鈥檚 work with writerly eyes, looking at the 鈥渉ow鈥� as rigorously as the 鈥渨hat.鈥�

This course introduces students to techniques of writing fiction and poetry. Student work is scrutinized by the instructor and may be discussed in a workshop atmosphere with other students.
