The College of Engineering and听Applied Science has formed a collaboration with the School of Education to create a space for听faculty, staff and students of both organizations to engage in conversations, practice听and action centered on issues that live at the intersections of equity, inclusion and education.

This is intended to be a community of learners committed to examining the cognitive, political, relational, cultural听and ethical dimensions of education, particularly in relation to learning in science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM).

Our overarching goal听is听to improve inclusive teaching and pedagogy in the College of Engineering and Applied Science and the School of Education. Our two main objectives听are:

  1. Inspire more people听to learn how to use听inclusive teaching strategies听to make learning experiences meaningful and valuable to students.

  2. Cultivate a community of learners where participants can share ideas, questions, and resources as we learn with and from each other.听听
