We host a range of social, cultural, professional, and academic events. This year, we’d like to focus on networking within our campus as well as networking with professionals. There will be a fun outdoor event to kick off the year, with many company visits from diverse companies throughout the year. In addition, we will be highlighting Black history and culture.

We understand that having a supportive community during college is critical to your success, so we want to provide you with a safe and uplifting environment! Everyone is welcome to join us at our bi-weekly meetings where we bring in companies to network and do professional development workshops. We have fun events also like salsa night, loteria nights and study nights where we provide tutors and free food! We take our members to conferences where they are able to network with companies and students across the country. We strive to ensure our members gain leadership and professional development skills while also building community with our familia!
At SWE CU Boulder, we are focused on building an inclusive community of strong female engineers and other underrepresented minority students, while remaining open to all who support these groups in STEM. Ìý
SWE hosts a variety of activities that highlight social, professional, and outreach events. Our members are able to interact with industry contacts through our networking night as well as industry panels. They can also meet other SWE members through social gatherings such as trivia, pumpkin carving, or DIY stress kit making. Finally, we work with K-12 students of all ages to inspire their passion for STEM through outreach events. We encourage our members to attend all of these different kinds of events to get a well-rounded experience with SWE. Additionally, we attend both national and local SWE conferences to meet other SWE chapters and professional representatives.
We value an open and inclusive environment for women and other underrepresented genders in their academic and professional careers.
We promote increased involvement of women in computing by encouraging them to join and attend related conferences. We are a networking group that brings in local companies (Google, Seagate, Salesforce) from around the area for many events such as resume workshops, mock interviews, etc. We socialize among our members through game and movie night!

Throughout each semester, we host a number of professional and social events. For example, we host meetings with industry professionals, movie nights, and information sessions on internships, resume building, and networking. Our goal is to create a place for students of all ages and experience levels to explore their love for aerospace and help give them the tools for a successful career in the industry.
