Environmental Compliance
Environmental Compliance (EC) is a multifaceted unit. Similar to a small city, the CU Boulder campus has environmental concerns to address. The campus includes a large number of people working inside of a relatively small area, including numerous buildings. Our campus also has complex, industry-leading research operations taking place everyday. Ensuring safe conditions where the best work is possible while maintaining CU Boulder’s environmental responsibility is what the EC unit manages.
Environmental Compliance, like the Industrial Hygiene unit, maintains several regulatory permits to safeguard both our work and community environment. This unit supports occupation safety, water quality and environmental stewardship.
