Allie is an Assistant Professor of Teaching for CU Engage. In her 7-year tenure at CU Boulder, she has taught and developed courses for the INVST Community Studies program, Puksta Scholarship program, Leadership Studies Minor, Elementary Education program, and CU Dialogues program. She is dedicated to designing and facilitating equity centered curriculum in CU classrooms, while supporting community leaders in developing a sense of self and well-being to work towards collective liberation for the long haul.
Working in various youth development focused organizations for the decade prior, Allie has also served as a community organizer, group facilitator, Executive Director, board member, and non-profit management consultant.
She received her B.A. in Communication and Certificate in Community Leadership from the University of Colorado Boulder and her M.A. in Contemplative Education from Naropa University. When she isn't teaching, Allie can be found spending time with her son, hiking Colorado trails, experimenting with cooking, or learning to play the banjo.
