On Oct. 20, around 100 faculty, staff, donors, and students and their families gathered virtually to honor scholarship and fellowship recipients and supporters at the 2020 School of Education Scholarship Celebration. While wemissed the opportunity to gather our student scholarship awardees and donors in person, we are grateful that we couldgather virtually to celebrate together.
The need for creatively transforming education and authentically supporting our students and educators could not be more important in these challenge times. We are thankful for the dedication of our donors, whose generosity makes the future a bit brighter for our students and by extension their students and communities. We hope you will find time to remind yourselves of the incredible talent in our school and the possibilities for a future filled with the hope and joy that they represent.
"It has become a cliche to say that 'we are all in this together,'but on days like today, I am reminded that our community is making a difference together," said Dean Kathy Schultz at the celebration.
"You allgive me hope, joy, and inspiration. Congratulations."
Warmest congratulations to all our scholarship award recipients and to the supporters who make so much possible.
