Liz is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction CounselorÌýin the State of Colorado. She graduated with her Master’s degree inÌýForensic Psychology from the University of Denver in 2007. She also holds aÌýBA in Psychology and Women’s Studies from the University of NorthernÌýColorado.
Prior to coming to CU, Liz worked within the criminal justice system providing individual therapy, group therapy, and assessments to clients whoÌýwere incarcerated and those who were under community supervision. LizÌýutilizes a variety of models in her therapy practice including Acceptance andÌýCommitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and MotivationalÌýInterviewing.
