She lives in Aurora, Colo. with her husband and four children.

Keith Schroeder (Kines) and his family returned to their home in Rushville, Ill., in late April after completing a fifth month-long mission trip to Togo, Africa. Keith, who is a physical therapist, spent three weeks at the Hospital of Hope in Mango teaching anatomy and physiology for nursing students. His wife Jennifer, who is a physician, and their two daughters, Olivia and Emma, worked at Hospital Baptiste Biblique in Adeta, Toga. “We always enjoy our trips to Togo, seeing old friends, making new friends, and working with the great people of Togo,” said Keith.

Cassandra Volpe Horii (Phys) was elected president of the Professional and Organizational (POD) Network in Higher Education, a professional organization dedicated to educational development. She will serve through spring 2019 then will join the executive board. In 2012, she became the founding director of the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Outreach at the California Institute of Technology.

The book features behind-the-scenes information and interviews with cast and crew about the props featured in all eight Harry Potter movies and in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The Indiana native has interviewed countless newsmakers, including former President Jimmy Carter and Nobel Peace Prize recipient Malala Yousafzai. Cheryl and her family now live in Atlanta, Ga., where she works as a morning anchor for WXIA.

Sharon Cairns Mann (MComm) won the 2016 Colorado Authors’ League Annual Award in the short fiction category for “Knife River Flint.” The story appeared in Rozlyn: Short Fiction by Women Writers and Tesserae: A Mosaic of Story in 2015. Sharon began writing “Knife River Flint” while taking an evening class at CU Boulder in 2003.

DJ Chamberlain (MAeroEngr) started a mountain campus above Fort Collins for growing cannabis through responsible hydroponic and horticulture techniques. He aims to expand and share knowledge of new techniques for growing and breeding cannabis and cannabis oil extraction. His privately held company, H.A.S.H., helps individual growers with proper, pestfree growing. DJ’s book, Aromatic Cannabis, outlines many advances in growing and harvesting.
