Local Table Tours started a cheese-tasting tour with Boulder cheesemonger听Molly Browne听(Anth, Engl鈥�05). Molly introduces people to a cheese plate and wine pairing at a local restaurant, a taste of a chef鈥檚 cheese-inspired dish and a private tour of Cured, a cheese shop in Boulder that she manages.

On Aug. 4听Keith Jones听(Fin鈥�05) and听Abra Fine听(Jour鈥�06) tied the knot in Deer Valley, Utah. The couple met five years ago at a CU-Boulder alumni event in New York City and has been together since. Keith is a member of the Leeds School of Business GOLD Board and a vice president at Barclays. Abra is an account manager at Google. The couple lives in New York, N.Y., and continues to stay involved with the local alumni chapter.

In June听Mike Aguilar听(IntlAf鈥�06) spent three weeks in China teaching conflict resolution techniques to students at their university. He resides in Arlington, Va., and is a former Alumni Association student worker.

Founders of The Unreasonable Institute听Tyler Hartung听(贵颈苍鈥�06),听Dan Epstein听(Phil鈥�08) and听Teju Ravilochan听(IntlAf鈥�09) were listed in America鈥檚 top 30 entrepreneur鈥檚 under 30 by听Inc. Magazine. The Unreasonable Institute recruits 25 entrepreneurs for six weeks of mentoring, business development and networking in Boulder. The company helps international start-ups that aim to address an environmental or social need. Dan and Teju were part of CU-Boulder鈥檚 Presidents Leadership Class.

After more than five years of work, Arvada, Colo., resident听Beau Beckley听(Mgmt鈥�07) published his first book听Make Moves 鈥� Success Through Motion听(Beckley Books). The book is a recording of Beau鈥檚 life journey as well as his observations on life. He has consolidated and documented 27 years of life lessons into seven values.听Beau is one of the founding members of the university鈥檚 Colorado Creed, a code of values for students to follow.

After graduating听Andrew Dunkle听(Art鈥�07) taught English for a year in Taiwan and lived there for an additional year during which he co-founded , a website for studying, teaching, volunteering and interning abroad. While building the site he became interested in travel writing and is a top content contributor to the website. Andrew is CTO of the website and lives in Berkeley, Calif.

At the first annual Brilliance Awards architectural lighting design recognition ceremony in June,听Josh Miller听(ArchEngr鈥�07) received a merit award in the exterior and landscape category for his work with AE Design Group for the Denver Civic Center Park. Josh lives in Littleton, Colo.

Along with a few other Forever Buffs听Kate Schlag听(Mktg鈥�07) works for Clean Energy Fuels, the largest provider of natural gas as a transportation fuel in North America. The company is building America鈥檚 Natural Gas Highway, a $450 million dollar investment to move goods across the major trucking corridors in America. Kate lives in Newport Beach, Calif.

Last summer听H茅l猫ne Tournier听(Mktg鈥�07) received the 1er Prix Or, Grand Prix V.I.E Afrique Australe 2012 award. She is part of VIE (International Business Volunteer), a government program that helps young European professionals find work for French companies overseas for six-to-24 month periods. The award promotes the expertise of young international volunteers and rewards their professional expertise and personal efforts.

In August听Mara Wiles听(Jour鈥�07) appeared in听The Denver Post听in the comedy section. Maria won best comic at the 2011 Laugh Track Fest and returned for a Saturday show earlier this year. She lives in Denver.

贵颈濒尘尘补办别谤听Ross Finkel听(Film鈥�08) began a documentary project in his senior year at CU-Boulder, spending close to a year and a half in the developmental stage preparing to film the movie in the Dominican Republic. After four years, the film听Ballplayer: Pelotero听is being released in theaters as well as on Video On Demand and iTunes. The documentary looks inside the world of professional baseball training camps in the Dominican Republic. Ross lives in Boulder.

Former CU student athlete and transgendered filmmaker听Lauren Lubin听(Soc鈥�08) is making a documentary titled听Gender Blender. The film is about nonbinary gender identities, and it follows Lauren as she undergoes surgery to transform her female body to become gender neutral. 鈥淭his is so much about sharing our pride in ourselves and who we are,鈥� she told the听Daily Camera. Lauren resides in Northbrook, Ill., and writes she is happy the Alumni Association鈥檚 GLBTA chapter exists.

Reading Village hired听Kassia Binkowski听(IntPhys鈥�08) as director of communications and development. Reading Village works with residents of impoverished villages in rural Guatemala to develop a culture of reading. Kassia lives in Boulder.

Former Alumni Association student worker听David Brennan听(Int Af, Hist鈥�09) has been living and working in Brussels, Belgium, since graduating from CU-Boulder. In August David was happy to write he saw the CU men鈥檚 basketball team during their European tour. David writes he had an overwhelmingly positive experience seeing and meeting the team and wrote a blog about it. It can be read at .

For the third time听Paul Kasemir听(CompSci, ElEngr, MElEngr鈥�09) competed in NBC鈥檚听American Ninja Warrior听competition last summer. He lives in Longmont, Colo.

CU couple听Lara Murphy听(Comm鈥�09) and听Andrew Herlihy听(PolSci鈥�09) married on Aug. 11 in Boulder. Lara works in human resources at Nordstrom and Andrew is a law student at the University of Wyoming.

On May 13听Lara Wahl听(Acct鈥�09) and her boyfriend miraculously survived a horrible car crash and explosion when a truck fell from an overpass onto their car as the couple was driving on Interstate 70 on their way to play tennis. The story appeared in听The Denver Post.听Lara says, in retrospect, they snapped into fight-or-flight mode to survive. Lara works as an auditor and lives in Avon, Colo.

Denver resident听Courtney Brunkow听(Mktg鈥�10) manages the account of Cocona for the public relations agency Verde PR and Consulting. Cocona is a Boulder-based leader in rapid-dry active particle technologies. Courtney will bring visibility to Cocona鈥檚 innovations.

Broomfield, Colo., resident听Brandon Parker听(MCivEngr鈥�11) joined JVA, a structural and civil engineering firm headquartered in Boulder, and works as a design engineer in the company鈥檚 structural department at the Boulder office.

Before graduating听尝补耻谤别苍听Bader听(IntlAf鈥�11) wrote her senior thesis about sport and development in Africa titled 鈥淔ootball and Community Building in Africa.鈥� Since graduating Lauren has been interning with the CTC TEN foundation in Khayalitsha, South Africa. The foundation runs sport and education programs at a soccer field.
