CU-Boulder always聽gives Shakespeare聽his due, especially in聽summer, when it hosts聽the Colorado Shakespeare聽Festival. Even聽so, the Bard will be an聽extra vivid presence on聽campus this year.聽
In August the CU Art聽Museum hosts a touring聽copy of the First Folio of聽1623 鈥� the first printed聽collection of Shakespeare鈥檚聽plays and an聽almost sacred book聽in Western letters. No聽copy exists in Colorado.聽Coming to see it (admission聽is free) will bring聽you tantalizingly close聽to the Shakespeare his聽friends knew.
