Fullbright Scholar, Claudia Salomon Tarquini visits CU Boulder
Working with various universities across the U.S., Claudia Salomon Tarquini comes to the University of Colorado-Boulder to presentÌýher current research inÌýIndigenous Studies. Salomon Tarquini's current Fullbright scholarship centers on research of histories of different indigenous peoples throughout the Americas, currently focusing on research of North American indigenousÌýcommunities in the U.S. Her previous studies centerÌýon the indigenous peoples of her hometown, La Pampa, Argentina. Published works include,ÌýLargas noches en La Pampa. Itinerarios y resistencias de la población indÃgena (1878-1976), (2010) [Long Nights in La Pampa. Itineraries and resistance of the indigenous population (1878-1976)], which highlightsÌýthe histories of indigenous peoples in La Pampa Province.Ìý
She currently serves as an adjuct researcher at CONICET (Consejo Nacional Investigaciones Cientificas y Técnicas/National Scientific Technical Research Council) and adjunct professor at UNLPAM (Universidad Nacional de LaÌýPampa/National University of La Pampa).Ìý
