Evan Peck鈥檚 expertise spans information visualization, human-computer interaction听and computing ethics education. His current research focuses on reimagining the processes and tools we use to share data with more diverse communities. Evan鈥檚 work examines how designers鈥� implicit beliefs about where people live, their access to technology听and their experiences may undermine the impact the way we see and use data. 听
Before joining CU Boulder, Evan was an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Bucknell University, where he advocated for an integration of ethics into core computing curriculum across the country. He received his PhD听in Computer Science from Tufts University in 2014, where he studied the application of brain-computer interfaces (BCI) to working environments. In 2021, he was a visiting scientist with the MIT Visualization Group at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). 听
