Anas BuhayhÌýis a first-year PhDÌýstudent in the Information Science Department working with Professor Amy Voida in the Philanthropic Informatics lab to explore the use of data analytics in philanthropy. He is a Fulbright alumni from Libya with a master's degree in information management from Central Michigan University and a bachelor's in automation from the College of Computer Technologies in Tripoli, Libya.
Anas has experience in monitoring and evaluation in non-profit organizations such as the World Health Organization and the International Rescue Committee. His work with non-profits focused on designing and implementing data collection systems. Besides his full-time jobs, Anas works as a freelance web developer.
Anas is passionate about data analytics and systems design. He enjoys programming, playing guitarÌýand working out in his spare time.
