Ka Yong Kleiner is pursuing her master鈥檚 degree in CMCI鈥檚 Corporate Communication (MACC) program听while concurrently serving as program director for communications, outreach and scholarly impact at CU Boulder鈥檚 Office of Faculty Affairs. She has over a decade of professional experience across various industries including local news media, financial services, e-commerce and higher education.听
She has always been fascinated by the power of effective communication and storytelling听and hopes to further develop her craft through the MACC program. She is particularly interested in learning more about reputation management, as well as the influence and impact of executive communication in shaping public perception and organizational success.
Originally from Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia, Ka Yong graduated from Marquette University in 2012 with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in philosophy and political science. When not working or studying, she enjoys recipe-testing, reading, and taking long road-trips with her husband Zach and goldendoodle Rainier.
