Laurie Cantilo (Jour’80) is a leader of the digital modernization team at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Cantillo joined NASA in 2015 after a career as an award-winning journalist and as an executive in radio and digital news. She led and programmed top-rated news and talk stations across the country. Her prior roles at NASA included deputy director of communications and education, and lead communications specialist for planetary science.
Cantillo is the co-author of the bestseller, Right-Brained Children in a Left-Brained World. She also volunteers with various organizations like Humane Borders, the Tucson Audubon Society and more.
