Jeff Tahler (Comm) is the managing director at Madica Productions. Madica's hit Netflix series Ginny and Georgia is currently in production of its second season. The company鈥檚 YouTube series Brave Mission听amassed more than 4.5 million views in the first month of its release.

Patrick Everson (Jour) and his wife, Annette (Bus'92), live in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he worked at the Las Vegas Review-Journal for 22 years before moving to Covers.com in 2016 as a national reporter covering the sports betting industry. In July 2021, he moved into his current role as the vice president of content for Props.com. 鈥淚t鈥檚 been a long journey from the Campus Press basement offices at Mackey, spending countless hours with the best peers from 1989鈥�91. And CU continues to set me up for success,鈥� Patrick Everson says.

鈥嬧�婸ete Baumgartner (Jour) is the managing editor for Central Asia and the Middle East at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) in Prague, Czech Republic. Baumgartner served as a senior correspondent for RFE/RL in Munich, Germany, and Washington before moving to Prague. Before moving to Europe, he was the sports editor of CU Boulder's Campus Press and worked for the Longmont Daily-Times Call and Rocky Mountain News. He enjoys traveling, skiing and attending European soccer games, and he lives outside of Prague with his wife.

Martin Streim (Comm鈥�76; MComm) retired in 2017 after a 35-year career in corporate human resources where he focused on organizational and leadership development. Before retiring, he spent several years as the director of ethics and business conduct in his employer鈥檚 office of legal counsel. He and his wife, Christie, live in Boulder.

Jad Davenport (MJour), a National Geographic represented freelance photographer and writer, captured a flock of Iceland gulls outside of Ilulissat, Greenland, which sits at the mouth of the Ilulissat Kangerlua glacier (Jakobshavn Icefjord). Morgan Walton (StratComm) began working in October 2021 as a junior designer at Union, an independent creative and performance marketing agency in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Megan Nyvold (Jour) moved to Miami following graduation. She works as a brandmaster and oversees social media operations at Biscayne Bay Brewing Co. Before that, her broad background and excellent communication skills allowed her to gain experience working for an advertising agency, as well as both private and Fortune 500 companies. She has extensive experience with video-sharing social networking, content creation and online communications.

Hannah Metzger (Jour) is working as a breaking news reporter for The Denver Gazette.

Rhodes Scholar Serene Singh (Jour, PolSci) was crowned the 2020鈥�21 National All-American Miss, winning the world鈥檚 largest pageant.

Austin Braun (Advert) is the digital media strategist at CU Boulder鈥檚 College of Engineering & Applied Science, using social and digital media to advance research, elevate reputation and build community in the college. During his free time, when he isn鈥檛 distance running or climbing 14ers, he鈥檚 working to create a better future with next-generation drone software engineering as chief strategist and creative at Ascend Engineering.

Following graduation, Brock Anderson (Jour) began a series of postgraduate internships with NFL teams, serving as a media relations intern with the Denver Broncos in 2015, the Green Bay Packers in 2016 and the San Francisco 49ers for part of 2017. He then took a position with the newly relocated Los Angeles Chargers, where he serves as a football communications manager.

Kylie Bearse (Jour) has been a meteorologist since 2011 and recently joined FOX31 as the weekday morning meteorologist. She loves the challenge of forecasting every season in Colorado and is an avid hiker. Bearse is a certified meteorologist after going back to school at Mississippi State University.

Paris Bradley (Jour) is senior vice president of strategy and communications at Teneo鈥攁 global CEO advisory firm鈥攚here she oversees media relations for the world鈥檚 leading companies. Prior to Teneo, Bradley was a vice president at Edelman where she built and scaled global, integrated media campaigns. Before Edelman, she led product communications and served as company spokesperson at DISH. In 2017, she was awarded at CES for her work championing diversity, equity and inclusion in the technology industry.

Mitchell Byars (Jour) has been reporting for the Daily Camera since 2011. Originally from Kona, Hawaii, over the past decade, Byars has become one of the most trusted sources for breaking news, police and court reporting in Boulder County and beyond. During the 2013 Colorado floods, he stayed up for two nights in the newsroom to post updates on the Camera鈥檚 website and social media. He was also a leader in the coverage of this year鈥檚 shooting at a Boulder King Soopers. He is respected and well known in the Boulder community for his witty 鈥渟canner for the win鈥� tweets, his vocal advocacy of local and ethical journalism, and his support of CMCI students through career fairs and internship opportunities.

In April, Patricia Kaowthumrong (Jour) was named 5280 magazine鈥檚 food editor and is the first Asian American woman to oversee the publication鈥檚 dining coverage. She reports on all of the talented chefs, artisans, farmers, restaurateurs and others who make Colorado such a delicious place to live.

John Livingston (Jour) is the public information officer of the Southwest Region for Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Previously, he spent 11 years working in the newspaper industry, with the last eight as the regional sports and outdoors editor of The Durango Herald. He welcomed his first child, Jax, days before beginning his new career with CPW.

Kelsey Kimball (Jour) is a senior director of sales at Swoop, an advertising agency focused on life sciences and technology. Previously, she managed key midwest relationships at The Trade Desk, a demand-side platform in the advertising technology space. She lives in Chicago with her husband and her goldendoodle, Goose.

Danielle Alberti (Jour) is the data visualization editor at Axios. She was previously a data visualization developer at Pew Research Center for five years. She lives near Washington, D.C.

After producing Stephanie Ruhle Reports on MSNBC, Ariel Peele (Jour) has returned to NBC New York as the executive morning producer. While with Stephanie Ruhle Reports, Peele produced coverage of the pandemic, 2020 election, insurrection, impeachment and inauguration.

Brad Cochi (Jour) is the director of digital media for the Colorado High School Activities Association. Cochi has been covering high school sports for more than 12 years through multiple media outlets and was the sports editor for the CU Independent while a student at CU Boulder.
