This weekend at the Society of Professional Journalists鈥� Region 9 Conference, the 听received five awards. Four of them were听top honors and will also compete for the national award in their respective听categories, which will听be announced in May.

The CUI was also announced as a finalist by the听Associated Collegiate Press (ACP)听in the . The CUI听staff are competing with just two other online-only student journalism news sources for this national award. The winner will be announced in November.
