Kristen received a B.S. degree from the University of Iowa and majored in Biomedical Engineering. She is rostered in the Department of Computer Science. Kristen听completed听her first lab rotation in Dr. Ryan Layer's lab in the Department of Computer Science. She听completed听her second lab rotation in Dr. Lawrence听Hunter's lab in the Computational Bioscience Program at Anschutz Medical Campus. Kristen completed her third lab rotation in Dr. Edward Chuong's lab in the Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology. For her fourth lab rotation, she听worked听with two other IQ Biology students and Dr. Ryan Layer was听their advisor. Kristen is advised by Ryan Layer.听
