Computer Science
Daniel received a BS from Tufts University in 2010 and majored in Computer Science and Environmental Studies. Daniel did rotations with Robin Dowell (Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology), Rob Knight (Biochemistry) and Frank Vernerey (Civil, Environmental & Architectural Engineering). Daniel was rostered in the department of Computer Science and joined Robin Dowell’s lab. His research involves developing algorithms to study genomics. Specifically, he has worked on inferring ancestral regions in mouse genomes and haplotype phasing in individuals with Down syndrome. Daniel obtained a M.S. degree in Computer Science and left the IQ Biology program in 2016.
