Bailey received a B.S. in Bioengineering with a Minor in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She听entered IQ Biology through the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department. Bailey听completed her first rotation in Kayla Sprenger's lab in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. She听completed her second lab rotation in听Virginia Ferguson's lab in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Bailey completed her third lab rotation in听Joel Kaar's lab in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering.听For听her听team rotation, Bailey听worked with two听other IQ students in听Kayla Sprenger's (Chemical and Biological Engineering) and Mark Borden's (Mechanical Engineering) labs. In May 2022, Bailey joined the Sprenger lab.
