Tuition and Fees

All students in the Post-Baccalaureate Health Professions program take the same schedule of courses each semester.

Your tuition rate is determined by your residency. Bills are available throughÌý. You may be eligible to set up a . Any unpaid balance after the tuition due date will be subject to a 1% service charge;Ìý in addition, a financial stop will placed on your student record. All tuition and refund determinations are subject to audit.

In-State Tuition Rates

In-state students pay $665 per credit hour enrolled.ÌýIf you have lived in Colorado for the past 12 months, you may be eligible for in-state tuition rates.

In-state students may be eligible for a tuition discount through theÌý. The COF rate is determined by the Colorado legislature and is subject to change each year.ÌýFor the 2024-2025Ìýschool year, the COF discount is anticipated to be $116 per credit hour.Ìý

Out-of-State Tution Rates

Out-of-state students pay $1,475 per credit hour enrolled.
All non-resident students in the cohort-based Post-Baccalaureate Health Professions program will receive an automatic scholarship that deductsÌý$355 per credit hour from the posted tuition cost.Ìý

Tuition and fees are just one part of the overall cost to attend CU Boulder. The full cost of attendance for an academic year could include expenses such as on-campus housing and food, books and supplies, and items that are not billed by the university, such as personal expenses, transportation and medical insurance. Financial Aid

Post-Baccalaureate Health Professions students who meet certain eligibility standards may be able to receive financial aid. Please note that federal financial aid awards for post-baccalaureate students typically cover the cost of in-state tuition but not living expenses. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) typically opens on October 1, for the following school year. (Each "school year" starts in the fall semester.) However, for the 2024-2025 FAFSA, the U.S.ÌýDepartment of Education has announced that the opening date will be delayed until late December 2023. In future years, the opening date will return to October 1. More information is posted on CU Boulder'sÌý2024-25 Financial Aid Application Delay webpage.


Student FeesÌý

Post-Baccalaureate Health Professions program students are automatically assessed the full package of student fees, which provide access to the RTD bus system,Ìýthe Student Recreation Center,Ìýand other campus services.Ìý You may reference a detailed list of fees on theÌýCU Boulder Bursar’s website. (Select either In-State or Out-of-State in the Undergraduate Â鶹ÒùÔº category, not the Computer Science Post Baccalaureate category. Student fees are listed on the second page of the document.) The cost of the full student fee package comes close to $900 per semester in the fall and spring, and around $650 in the summer.Ìý

All nondegree students, including Post-Baccalaureate Health Professions students, have the option to opt out of certain fees that are mandatory for students who have degree-seeking status. If you do not plan to utilize the resources covered by student fees, you may followÌý to waive the majority of your fees.ÌýÌý
