Caitlin Berry is a PhD candidate in the Applied Mathematics department at the University of Colorado-Boulder. She earned a B.S. in mathematics at the University of Arizona and an M.A. in secondary mathematics education from the City University of New York-City College. Caitlin taught mathematics for several years at the K-12 and university level before beginning her graduate studies at CU-Boulder.ÌýThrough her appointment with theÌýLaboratory for Interdisciplinary Statistical AnalysisÌý(LISA) at CU-Boulder, she has experienceÌýcollaborating with domain experts to apply statistics and data science to transform evidence into action in order to advance research and inform policy. To this point, Caitlin has collaborated on several projects related to pediatric hearing assessment and hearing ability in both children and adults.

Caitlin is an avid runner and triathlete having completed multiple marathons, an ultra marathon, and two half Ironman races. She also loves food and enjoys cooking her way through the New York Times cookbook.
