B.A in Biochemistry, B.A. in Molecular/Cellular/Developmental Biology, B.A. in Neuroscience, Minor in Chemistry, Summa Cum Laude
Research Interests:ÌýMy research interests broadly encompass biomedical and translational work. I am interested in teasing apart biochemical and cellular processes in the central and peripheral nervous system and how these processes relate largely to clinical symptoms and healthy brain aging. Finally, studying traumatic brain injuries and improving brain injury rehabilitation techniques has and will always be of personal importance to me.
Responsibilities:ÌýI am primarily responsible for coordinating wet lab procedures in our genetics laboratory and managing the various biological samples produced by our studies. I also work on the FORCE study where I assist with fMRI scans and exercise tests.
About Me:ÌýAs a Colorado native, I enjoy spontaneous fishing trips and exploring the mountains in my backyard.Ìý I also enjoy craft beer and cinema.Ìý Because of the transdisciplinary nature of CUChange, I am in a unique position to interact with a wide array of scientists to further develop my passions for scientific curiosity and learning.Ìý As such, one of my favorite parts of my job is mentoring undergraduate research assistants.ÌýÌý
