B.S., Biology, University of Colorado Denver

I am a recent University of Colorado graduate with a B.S. in Biology with emphasis in pre-medical sciences. I started my undergraduate career in Seattle, Washington prior to moving to Denver to complete my degree. Throughout my entire undergraduate career, I worked in the clinical setting in multiple disciplines including orthopedics, cardiac telemetry, emergency medicine and most recently in clinical research in pediatric autoimmune diseases. Working in the clinical setting exposed me to different populations and medical conditions. Most predominantly, my research interests were peaked in the use of cannabinoids in inflammation as a tool for recovery in athletes, management of anxiety and seizure disorders. The research through CUChange provides the perfect opportunity to further understand the holistic use of cannabis in the management of psychological and physical conditions.

About Me: I grew up in the Boulder/Longmont area and have been an athlete in some capacity my entire life. Most recently, I started Ironman triathlons with no experience in swimming, biking or running. I love the challenge of learning new things and mastering them to my highest potential. Outside of training for Ironmans, I enjoy jamming out to all types of music, trail running, visiting warm places and exploring big cities.Ìý
