Integrated Physiology with a Minor in Business and a Certificate in Care, Health, and Resilience

Research Interests: I am interested in researching the cross-over between the mind and the body, especially regarding the importance of emotion regulation and motivation in health behavior. As a physiology major, I am passionate about working with individuals to overcome mental roadblocks in order to reach their health goals.

Responsibilities: As an undergraduate, I am volunteering as a research assistant for Charleen Gust’s graduate research project on yoga and self-regulation. I assist with collecting data before and after the yoga sessions, as well as organizing the baseline and post-test information for Charleen to further analyze.

About Me: I am from Colorado Springs, Colorado and have been training in Muay Thai boxing for 6 years. I also enjoy heading to Denver for Avalanche games during hockey season, and binge-watching Parks and Recreation on Netflix.
