Research Interests: My interests lie in the possible medical applications of socially stigmatized substances. The wealth of research on the effects of psychedelic and cannabinoid drugs has not only been growing at an incredible rate, but has demonstrated several promising results on possible healthcare applications for these substances. I believe that the administration of medical care should be a highly objective process, with the goal of maximal patient benefit, and in my opinion, fostering a deeperÌýunderstanding of the clinical applications of stigmatized substances has limitless potential for previously undervalued treatment options and patient outcomes.
About Me: I am a student at CU Boulder, hoping to one day complete medical school and practice as a physician in the world of EmergencyÌýMedicine. Aside from work in the lab, Emergency Medical Services is a driving passion of mine. On days that I don't work in the lab, I work on an Ambulance serving the Denver Metro Area. Some of my favorite things are music, driving, science, and sweets. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, playing the piano, building computers, and taking care of my plants.
