Profile

Bosen LIU is a PhD candidate graduating in 2020, a United Nations education policy
researcher for Africa, a Chinese citizen by law, a global citizen by heart, an Americaneducated
and French-furnished social science scholar in International Development and
Relations, a TED talk speaker, an advocate on technology approach to sustainable
development, a social entrepreneur promoting access and quality improvement to address
live of marginalized groups through artificial intelligence, a world traveller, an advocate
in spreading meaning of life through loving and caring yet an economist in using
numbers to tell stories and pushing things forward.
As an African education specialist and with the background of traveling through 34
countries, working in 12 countries and working on/with more than 40 countries and
intensive experiences of interacting among different groups (including students,
community members, academia, government, and the private sector), Bosen has obtained
in-field skills in working with complex stakeholders relations at local, national, regional
and international levels both in the space of policy-making and program/project
operation, including but not limited to research, design, implementation, monitoring and
evaluation, and publication.
