On behalf of Western Conference for the Association for Asian Studies, Brigham Young-Idaho and the University of Montana, we are pleased to issue a Call for Papers for our 2023 in-person conference, October 5-6, 2023, in West Yellowstone, Montana. We will be joined for a Keynote address by AAS Vice President, Dr. Jean Oi, the William Haas Professor of Chinese Politics and Senior Fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford University.
Call for Proposals
听
We welcome proposals from all disciplines related to the broad theme of听Asia Reopened: Reconsidering the Past and Present. We invite proposals for听听including Roundtables and Workshops, and for听, from faculty, graduate students, intendent scholars, and undergraduates (when part of an organized panel that is chaired by a faculty mentor).
听
Please submit a proposal using the WCAAS 2023 submission forms听听and听听by July 15th for priority consideration.
