Aspire Partnership with Aurora Public Schools
About the Aspire Project
The Aspire Project is a partnership between the University of Colorado Boulder School of Education and Aurora Public Schools, seeking to improve STEM education for all students through the development of a comprehensive approach to science assessment that also supports teacher professional learning.
Science Tasks
(Formative Assessment)
NGSS Performance Expectation: : Use a model to illustrate that cellular respiration is a chemical process whereby the bonds of food molecules and oxygen molecules are broken and the bonds in new compounds are formed resulting in a net transfer of energy.
