Scott Robinson is a PhD candidate in Accounting at the Leeds School of Business. His research interests include understanding the role of capital market intermediaries’ in determining firm disclosures and financial disclosure choice. Prior to attending Leeds, Scott completed his undergraduate degree in Accounting & Finance at the University of Delaware. Upon graduation from Delaware, he worked as a senior auditor at Grant Thornton, LLP in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Following his tenure at Grant Thornton, Scott worked as an audit manager at BDO USA, LLP in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where he focused on financial statement audits of public financial institutions. From his previous auditing experience, he transitioned to an internal auditing role at a regional financial institution where he primarily oversaw regulatory compliance audits.
