Getting people off their couches and into movie theaters was hard enough before the pandemic made moviegoing a health risk. But it’s a challenge Jim Packer (Bus’85) has embraced.

Packer, president of worldwide TV and digital distribution at Lionsgate, to talk about the company’s strategy in adapting the business and getting ahead of disruptive changes.

“If you were to say, ‘Would you rather be too early, or would you rather be late?’ I'd rather be early,” Packer said. “If you wait and you're late, you can sometimes miss a trend, and then it's a little bit harder to get deals done or product out in the marketplace.”
