Jessica F. Kirk is a doctoral candidate, studying organizational behavior and entrepreneurship at the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado-Boulder. Her research focuses on how bias and stereotyping leads to mistreatment and biased perceptions of women in organizations and entrepreneurship. She also explores potential solutions to these barriers, helping organizations increase diversity and allowing women to achieve success. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri and a Master of Business Administration degree from Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to pursuing a PhD, Jessica worked as an engineer at The Boeing Company.
