The Biochemistry and Chemistry Departments thank the Lacher family, including John and Jan who attended the 2024 dinner, for their generous support and interest in our Biochemistry and Chemistry students! This year's awards were given to three Biochemistry students (sophomores Asher Ferreira, Ava Winter, and junior Kuo-Hsein "Tim" Shih) and one Chemistry student (Adira Lunken, senior).
°Õ³ó±ðÌýBob and Dickie Lacher Scholarship Fund is awarded to students who meet the following criteria:
- Rising sophomores enrolled full-time with a declared major in Biochemistry or Chemistry in the College of Arts & Sciences.
- CUÂ GPAÂ 3.0 or higher.
- In good standing per CU’s ³§´¡±ÊÌý±è´Ç±ô¾±³¦²â
Preference is given to students who have graduated from a high school in Colorado or Minnesota. Extracurricular activities, community service, and recommendation letters will be used as secondary criteria between applicants of equal merit.
This scholarship is renewable for up to three years provided the recipient maintains a GPA of 3.0 or above.
